Business Advocacy

To be successful you need to be heard.  That is why the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce serves as the "unified business voice of greater Gainesville," aggressively representing your business interests at the city, county, regional and state levels.

Vote No on Amendment 4

An Economic Impact Analysis of the proposed Amendment 4 on the economic development of Florida by Washington Economics Group Inc. found that 106,652 to 267,247 jobs will be lost, which will result in a $1.6 billion to $4.1 billion loss in tax revenue for the state.

"Passage of Amendment 4 will have potentially devastating consequences to Florida's economy at a time when attracting new business to Florida is essential for the future recovery and prosperity of the state and its residents."
