What We Offer Tech Startups

The GTEC program provides tech startups with assistance to help them grow and develop into financially viable tech enterprises.  The GTEC program encompasses a community of on-site and off-site tech startups.  Our program offers participating companies:

• Ongoing strategic advice and help
• Introductions to people and needed resources
• Networking opportunities and daily interactions with other tech startups, experienced entrepreneurs, venture capitalists  and other funding sources
• Shared conference rooms, services and equipment
• Flexible, furnished space for on-site tenants
• Specialized education programs in cooperation with the University of Florida (UF), Gainesville Area Innovation Network (GAIN) and other organizations

A company graduates and typically moves into new space within the Gainesville and Alachua County area when it has achieved a level of financial soundness and corporate growth that enables it to leave the GTEC program and begin its next stage of corporate growth.

Our Mission

As a community program, our mission is to grow technology-based companies in Gainesville and Alachua County to create high-wage jobs and strengthen the local economy. As part of its mission, GTEC strives to build strong partnerships within the community and throughout Florida to help build and strengthen our local tech economy.
